Satisfactory acoustic conditions in each of the buildings rooms, depends on the use of surface materials with absorption characteristics sufficient to ensure the required sound regulation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"c1076\" class=\"csc-default\">\n<div class=\"csc-textpic-text\">\n<p class=\"bodytext\"><b>Sound Absorption<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">SkanDek panels can be made with perforated ceiling cover and with sound batts which have good sound absorbing qualities. This is a cheap and efficient method of reducing noise in a workroom. AT Direction no. 1.1.0.1 from the Working Environment Authority (AT) contains the provisions regarding requirements for \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Acoustics in workrooms\u00e2\u20ac\u009d.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">The requirements are given as threshold values for reverberation periods or the equivalent sound absorption area, which are calculated on the basis of sound absorption coefficients. The material\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s sound absorption is an indication of how large a part of the sound energy is absorbed per surface unit<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"c1077\" class=\"csc-default csc-space-after-25\">\n<div class=\"csc-textpic csc-textpic-center csc-textpic-below\">\n<div class=\"csc-textpic-text\">\n<p class=\"bodytext\"><b>Sound Absorption Class D<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">SkanDek standard panels with perforated trapezoid plate on the underside.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">Practical absorption coefficients, weighted absorption coefficients and absorption classification according to DS\/EN ISO 11654:1997: aW = <b>0.40<\/b> (LM). The results showed a sound reduction R&#8217;w of 52 dB\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s, which fulfilled the requirements in BR95 for a sound reduction R&#8217;w of 48 dB.
